My 4S 32GB = 230 dollars. Craigslist is way better - I will get $600 at least with all the accessories I have for it. That way, I won't be holding onto any useless item when I sell it.

All Airport Extremes since 2009 (I have two) are simultaneous dual band. So they will create two networks - a 5GHz and a 2.4GHz. 2.4 and 5GHz devices can see and connect to either of them while 2.4GHz only devices can see and connect only to the 2.4GHz.

Actually 5GHz has higher throughput, but lower range than 2.4GHz.

Why do you want a second router to broadcast 2.4 GHz? Why not let the router broadcast in 2.4 and 5GHz? I have 2 Airport Extremes both transmitting in 2.4 and 5GHz to cover my full home.

I returned the case and she has been using it for last 4-5 months without one - dropped it like ten times. Now it has few nicks in the corners but nothing…

I too hated the market. But it wasn't Apple, Android hones like Inspire 4G had been doing the same for longer. Stupid marketing. If people were not as stupid as the marketing people thought, we wouldn't have to deal with all the crap like this.
