Netflix licensing agreement is likely secret but I doubt they would have embarked into this without a bulletproof contract, particularly considering Disney was already a perceived competitor at the time, so they have to have a number of seasons and/or a timeframe secured.

Netflix isn’t so great as people think. Most of their home-brewed shows are garbage and they are seriously lacking in catalog beyond that...

I really doubt that. A company like Netflix wouldn’t venture into this without having rights secured and if Disney was in the process of getting their rights back they’d go for the valuable stuff first (i.e. Daredevil).

Nope. Netflix has the right firmly secured. It’s just that no one is watching them. And I doubt Disney would be in a rush to pickup those second grade properties.

My guess is they simply underperform. There certainly isn’t enough interest to keep 5(!) of those shows running but maybe 3 is viable.
