When Google and Amazon went public, they were not manufacturing goods for sale to the public. They were primarily software companies.

Any article making such declarative claims should be written by (or at least run by—what happened to journalism?) a professional in venture capital and technology company valuation.

Uber is a lobbying tool to destroy regulations worldwide. If anything they could just rebrand themselve as a fulltime vanity project for all aspiring Ayn-Randites which could actually be more profitable than pretending they are some sort of taxi service.

Really wish Porsche hadn’t settled at all.

I knew a guy that told me he once drove a similar military truck on pure acetone.

Well no, and it’s the woman who wrote the article that says it:

Well, what about the women who worked with Weinstein after being personally assaulted? ...

That’s because they are not taking the right step.

This is mostly BS anyway:

I mostly agree that PKD writing is quite terrible, but this in no ways makes his book rubbish. Again different it is difference between style and content. I’ll let people judge which ultimately is the most important.

I have read most of his work in my late teens and It is true that PKD is a pretty terrible writer when it comes to style but his ideas were well ahead of his time and still remains ahead of most of what is written/filmed these days.

Well Scott can change the writer’s version. It’s an adaptation, or even just inspired by the book.

it seemed as if this movie was being advertised as a psychological horror/thriller, and not like the more experimental film it is.

Good except we don’t need that “baba yaga” thing anymore. See it made sense because the bad guys where russian in the first movie, but now it is just another pointless mythos bulletpoint.

After the first I really questioned if there was anything to be gained by expanding on the stuff that worked so well in part because it felt so developed yet vague.

Yeah that mythos focus is really misguided.
