I never take my headlights off auto, and have the fog lights on permanently. However, when I take it to the dealership, they sometimes turn them off. I’ve trained myself to double check these switches before I leave the dealership after a service call, but it would be nice if the technicians would return those

The last several cars/vans I’ve had have all had an “Auto” mode for headlights. And that’s where I set them, and never touch them again. They turn on and off when needed. The only time it gets messed with is the annual safety inspection when I have to remember to flip it back to auto because the inspection station

Let’s not kid ourselves that this isn’t (at least in large part) an opportunity for good PR for Frank Kent MC.

Still, motives aside, good on them for stepping in to help out.

This happened in Buffalo not that long ago. It just takes one tractor trailor to get stuck or jack-knife at the right time during a storm to slow the plows down enough where it can cause a perfect shit-storm.

It was raining heavily before it changed to heavy snow so pretreating roads wasn’t an option.

Tipping the vending machine will NOT result in free product :p

Could be a mating call in certain parts of Texas.

A Messy One

Not just hybrid--plug-in hybrid, so it has a tax credit and gas-free commutes.

at least they are toyos or hondas with both a better rep for lasting forever and retaining value.

fastest selling != largest volume of sales

looking at the top of the list you are seeing vehicles that there aren’t a ton of and are niche vehicles which people looking to buy one only want that car, so when it pops on the market it gets grabbed quick by someone who has been waiting for one to come available.

Costco gives you nitrogen for free.

That applies to construction zones where a normally two lane road is cut down to one lane. Yes, use the zipper merge there.

Also online business in general. I work in hospitality and actively discourage everyone from ever using online bookers like expedia or booking.com. Sure, its convenient at the time of booking, and you might save a couple of bucks, but if you have ANY issue their customer service fucking sucks, and the hotel itself

The issue with longer loans is the part where you get upside down on the loan, and the longer the loan the longer you’re upside down. So 0% is great, but if in a year something happens and you need to sell your car, it’s worth less than what you owe on the loan.

Kudos to them for bringing back the Integra name. They should consider bringing back the Legend as well. Oh, and does this mean that Honda is getting a Prelude? Prelude was my first car, and I 💘 them.

I get the feeling that the bicyclists in question aren’t exactly poor, so they’ll probably have a good lawyer. Sure, they set up a GoFundMe, but that’s practically second-nature here in America. Even well-off people set up a GoFundMe over minor stuff.

This kid needs a baseball bat to the knees.

If you’re old enough/judged responsible enough to drive a vehicle on public roads, you’re old enough/responsible enough to face adult charges for vehicular crimes.

This reminds me of the time when I was driving I-70 during a snowstorm and 2 pickup trucks went roaring past me... and within 2 or three miles I saw both of them spinning separately off the highway in (thankfully) single vehicle accidents. I laughed and laughed.
