It’s probably the wholesaler (supplier) who’s charging him a much higher price than other stations, so he can’t sell much gas. A lot of the small shops here have higher prices than the big chains.

It’s full service, which I think slows things down because you have to wait for an attendant who is monitoring four pumps at the same time.

Definitely a lot of nuances.  In Delaware, for example, liquor has its own entrance at warehouse clubs and its own registers.  However, there are signs noting that non-members may purchase liquor.

In New Jersey, it is slower because of the full service. There is often only one attendant per 4 pumps, so you have to wait for them to serve one side before coming to your side to either begin or end fueling.
