Going to respectfully disagree with part of this. They can think critically enough. They are choosing not to because racism, white supremacy, xenophobia, whatever, take your pick.

Well, there was at least one mistake. Her being too thin-skinned to take ribbing that the Bush II administration handled without whining isn’t anyone’s fault but her own. There’s a lot to find inappropriate about the Correspondent’s Dinner, but “too unkind to the Administration about actual things they’ve done”…

Their ability to project and blame others for their own behavior is, quite simply, as breathtaking as it is soulless.
