@off-kilter: The memory of the scene in B:TVS where he confronts evil Willow and says "I'd like to put that to the test"-I will take to my grave-so awesome-sadly it makes me also think of the girl I let go who was watching it with me at the time.

@Vroom-Socko: Wait-I think the Abraham Lincoln one was the issue with the planet of the freaks!

When I was a kid, I read two stories in separate TotU issues that scared the snot out of me. One was about a house that had octopus tentacles that came out of every drain and another was about a female astronaut who crash landed on a planet of freaks-with one normal guy-she escapes the planet with him and the guy

One of the other sci-fi connections on The Starlost was that it starred Kier Dullea. One of our biggest TV flops-Harlan Ellison probably wanted to kill/sue/beat-up Canada for the whole debacle.

"Planet Fiction" blew me away on so many levels. But here's a question for the fans-was that issue dedicated to Grant Morrison because Ambrose was like Neo (but cooler) and Grant felt the Matrix movies ripped off The Invisibles?

@IraeNicole: Ummm, the guy with the baseball cap is Asian, and the comic (and the show, I presume) gets a fair bit more diverse as it continues.

Ummmm, ANY of the deaths in Days of Future Past? Just because it will never happen (or has already happened, or has yet to happen) doesn't mean that there wasn't some pretty powerful stuff going on there.

@van_line: That "Marvin and Wendy and dog thing was like a big "f##k you" to anybody who had any good feelings about "Superfriends". It really made me wonder why I read most modern comics.

What about The High? Ellis' Superman pastiche in Stormwatch.
