If someone told you to drive them somewhere as quick as possible, do you draw the line at speeding? Does it depend on the destination or circumstances?

I barely ever notice I'm driving stick in traffic. I'm too busy trying to not go insane.
Because this is an actual racing game. ZING!
I will admit that it is much easier to get consistent and advertised fuel economy in an automatic but if one puts effort into saving fuel in a manual then they will save way more gas every time. For that reason alone, I think the automatic will win this battle going into the future.
What a bummer.
I just wish automakers would compromise between the two. I don't mind if they get rid of the clutch as long as they keep the traditional H shifting pattern. My left foot would get bored but at least my hands won't. Flappy paddles just feel cheap.
I'm pretty sure the automakers are cheating. Every hypermiler forum I go to always puts emphasis on the superiority of the manual when it comes to saving gas. The only advantage a automatic has over the manual is cruise control and even then that's not much of an edge if one is trying very hard to save gas. More…
Looks like I'm going to have to buy a new manual car as soon as possible.
You rolled on top of him? :o
Just finally started getting into some Led Zeppelin. Love it!
Well, for one thing the battery on the DSi will last much longer. Other than that, I can't see why someone would buy the DSi over the 3DS.
My problem with Burnout: Paradise mirrors yours but I think the thing that really prevented me from enjoying it was the racing itself. The tracks ( courses?) weren't very technical and the physics weren't very tight. I'm not one of those people who needs "realism" to enjoy his racing. Games like PGR4, F-Zero GX, Mario…
I'm not poor :(
5th gear:
I already mentioned that gas prices will not stay the same. I am fully aware of this. I even mentioned that I, personally, do not think this change is worth it at the moment. A lot of people on this site were saying that a 25% increase in fuel economy would pay itself off in no time. I just wanted to put things in…
I guess I'm going to applaud you.
Not sure if satire or just really dumb. If this is satire, I applaud you.
It will definitely pay off much faster if they drove 80 miles a day. My problem with the aluminum and other gas-saving technology is the initial price. If someone drove 10,000 miles a year it wouldn't make sense for them to buy something like a Prius or a hybrid version of a sedan. If they drove something closer to…
Yes ._.
Really? You think the vacuum like engine drone in and hovercraft-like suspension travel in GT5 is better than Forza's fantastic graphics, sound, feedback, and customization?
