Clear lenses + amber bulbs. End of discussion. I'm currently trying to get rid of the amber lenses in my Mk4 GTI's headlights, which means sourcing headlight housings from an earlier model Mk4 that had clears with amber bulbs. Side markers have already been replaced with clear ones.

I have the same problems with the Mk7 GTI as you do, it seems. VW should bring back Imola Yellow. I'd probably consider selling a testicle on the black market. I could do without the touchscreen, and I want my damned plaid seats WITH a sunroof. I'd also be a lot more willing to drop $26,000 for a newer version of my

True. I suppose bodywork/just buying and painting a Euro bumper would probably be cheaper than getting Euro headlight housings. Unless it's the same housing and the orange lenses/bulbs can be easily removed, which I doubt.

I wholeheartedly agree. The Mk6's styling is near-perfect in my opinion. I do wish they would have stuck with the classic smooth quarter panel instead of having the tail light jut into it, but it's a small nitpick. The Mk7 seems "stretched" to me. Probably due to the sharper angles, lower overall height and longer

The mk7 is definitely growing on me. Cheaper, lighter, better engines, and even the styling is looking better to me. The e-Golf front bumper is definitely going to be a popular swap for enthusiasts, mark my words. Still glad my wife went for the mk6 TDI, as it looks great in its own way. Volkswagen needs to keep

Really? The VW crowd has always despised the side marker in the bumper afterthought that gets thrown in on the Golf's way to the U.S. The Euro models don't have them. A lot of guys I know get them shaved off. This will help skip that step.

In my opinion, sport modes don't typically make enough of a difference to be worth the added expense/complexity. I'd much rather have all of the car's potential at my fingertips/toes and just dial back when I shift and how much power I'm utilizing on my own. My wife's Golf TDI has an "S" mode you can stick the DSG

Whatever, I'm whipping out the dental floss on mine. Okay, you caught me, I can't afford one. But I can afford dental floss...

I love what this car has to offer, especially after having the features explained to me in the way they have just been. It's crazy how much more space you have when you don't have a massive water-cooled engine at the front and fuel tank in the rear (3rd row seating, bitches). It's rear wheel drive. You can get just

If you're looking for a great story, skip this game. It's just a generic action movie plot. If you're like me and you're looking for responsive, tight, innovative, and extremely fun gameplay with great visuals (for its time), this is your game. One of my all-time favorites in my 360 collection. Too bad it didn't sell

I could not be more excited for this game. I love that it's investor-based and you can actually have some input as a buyer. I can't believe it would look THIS good on the Wii U, but on a decked-out PC? Definitely. These guys raised almost 4 million euro from investors, so there's a pretty huge fan base already, and

All I can say is—MUSTACHE PHYSICS. Also this will be the first Wii U game I actually drop $60 on since Rayman Legends.

Why exactly are cameras required on vehicles LESS than 10,000 pounds? Wouldn't it make more sense to require cameras on vehicles with actual blind spots, such as buses and larger construction trucks? I know I'd appreciate a backup camera on the 40 foot buses I drive just so I know there isn't a small

There is a VW/Audi/Mercedes/Mazda dealer (I know, weird combo) where I live, and they have never once had a Miata in their lot. Is this just the dealer's preference, or do you as the buyer have to special order the Miata? I'd really like to test drive one at some point.

I suppose this could be an A3 2-door hatch replacement for those of us in the USA who only get the sedan with 4 doors now. For Europe though...what's the point? Also, just give us the S3 hatch with 2 doors and forget about this whole TT shooting brake thing. While you're at it, give the current Allroad something

Is it strange that I'd buy one and then replace its shell with an authentic one? Yeah, maybe a little weird. No, never mind. I want to do this.

I won't be able to understand any of the technical jargon, but as an artist, I'd love to see pictorial representations of their findings. I've always wondered if designs I've drawn up can actually be considered "aerodynamic" or not.

It's been said in other comments, but chrome. Kill it. Kill it with fire. I get that the design looks bland without a color/texture change here and there, but try something different, like brushed aluminum or a secondary color. DO NOT use black plastics. Any car over 10 years old will look like crap when its plastics

I'd like to see this study adjusted for a new Kia at around $16,000. I'd bet that half the country still wouldn't fall under the "good to go" category. Then again, our country runs on spending money we don't have. There are plenty of studies on the average debt of the American family, and they're depressing as hell.

I actually just checked one of these out at my local dealer. I liked it too, but they had it priced at $32,000. That's almost Golf R money for a 210hp Beetle with some shiny bits.
