What is generally overlooked is that Amazon did not reach the peak that it is at through retail. They are so valuable thanks to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The vast cloud services that they developed for themselves and then started offering to the public is where the value comes from. Uber has no such secondary product.

Right.. Next you’re going to say we want to wean ourselves off cheap produce picked my immigrants.

4th gear:  I gotta admit that if we were ever going to have a trade war with China and spark a global recession, this isn’t a good time for me personally.

If you like cars, don’t live in an HOA.

6/2 x (1+2) = 9 (what the problem says)

Yeah have heard them before when driving through Detriot. Im near Cbus and we have Matt Taylor Kia and Ricart Kia

That just about perfectly describes SUMMIT PLACE KIA that Metro-Detroiters have to deal with being screamed at by on a regular basis when listening to the radio here.

It would be, but in a questionable economic future, attrition doesn’t exist much. Back in the days... like the late ‘80s-early ‘90s, everybody was hiring. I’m excited to see how a Chinese car would do in the US. I can imagine the ingrained thoughts of “cheap Chinese crap” but if they can come to market for less than $20,000, that might overpower those thoughts.

“Charlie Chesbrough, senior economist for Cox Automotive, told AutoNews that he has a working hypothesis. Mainly, it costs more to buy a car these days, and it’s tough to borrow the money to do it. It’s pretty tough to sell to a market that doesn’t have the means to buy.”

You can tweak that sticky choke right from the driver’s seat though!

So is pivoting to a market that only wants SUVs out of touch?  Or are they supposed to still only make Sedans because SUVs are bad?
