Probably a marinade. I always consider the addition of oil to push it past the brine category. By the way, my favorite marinade for pork is Greek dressing. It is milder and the mix of spices and even feta work well against the sweetness of the pork.

As much shit as the Gawker sites get for being hacks, bloggers and not real media, it needs to be said: this is how professionals do things.
We do our best to just treat them like we would any other publisher. Any time I’m going to run a report like this, I’ll always ask the relevant parties for comment. Sure, Bethesda hasn’t responded in nearly five years, but that doesn’t mean we’re gonna stop asking. Let the onus be on them.
