I would have done the 4-year nursing program, joined the Army for 17 years, so then by 43 years old I’d be “retried” with a pension and still in nursing, most likely a desk job or even as a DoN, depending my level of ambition or taking it easy.

I’m quite sure there is a time-honored tradition to this ... tradition (?) that will only expand our understanding of human nature if we don’t judge.

So far, it seems that they are just doing a “last hired, first fired” strategy along with what has too much in the pipeline to cancel just yet. Wouldn’t surprise me if Jessica gets a third and then goes. But I bet that DD is on the bubble for a fourth, but won’t get a fifth. 

Well, most jobs don’t come with the implied consent that you will lay down your life if push comes to shove. To spend years of your life or even devote your career to protecting your home is an honorable thing. It’s only ironic because you haven’t walked that path yet. But you are invited too. 

Don’t forget kids, if don’t you become a CEO with a golden parachute then it’s your fault when you get laid off.

You always get the people that overshare on their political views, but I’ve noticed especially with this new admin that its fan want to really let you know how they feel.
