I come from a field that has a similar cycle (2 years you are either promoted or fired), the Marketing Industry. If I had know this was how it was going to go, I would have picked a different career.

Any bright person can pick up and use the lingo. A smart person knows how to tailor their message and get big ideas across with plain language.

Amateurs

I wasted years before I came up with idea. Even when the economy was the worst, some people couldn't get how temp work was the new permanent situation.

4 hours in and it's passed a quarter mil. The show was in a weird spot for me, way too late for my childhood and way too soon before I had kids. I had no idea that it was that cherished. That bit alone makes it worth my day and some cash from my paycheck on Friday.
