If the Bolt comes out with full autonomy at some point I might consider it.

I’m planning for all of this to be true. I’m waiting for the model 3 to show up, but if it does and if they roll out automated driving (meaning it is approved by DOT and NHTSA and functioning) the model 3 will be the first new car I have bought since 2006.

Let’s remember how much easier it’ll be to take your car in for service if you can tell the car to go and stay at work.

4. If claims are not reduced significantly the technology will not be implemented. If we can reduce accidents by 90%, even if the cars cost more, insurance premiums (which are regulated) will decrease.
Perhaps the insurance will be provided by the manufacturer to justify an increase in the upfront vehicle cost. (You

The ATS-V/V8 Combination exists, it’s called the Camaro and it is the better car.

Each one comes with a Juicero.

The Park Avenue Ultra with the supercharger was a pretty good sleeper too. They never offered the blower in the LeSabre, which probably would have been the ultimate sleeper combo. For few years, when I sold them, you could get a supercharged Bonneville without getting the full SSE package, there was a supercharged

I’m assuming you mean Cobalt SS Supercharged, not the SS Turbo. In stock form the SS Turbo would crush all of those cars.

I would, like driving a fucking living room, one I can throw my two sons an six friends or ten sheets of 8' X 4' plywood and enough lumber to build a tree fort.

Not entirely true. Autos have more drive train loss, so to make up the difference you need more power. Look at Shep’s 5spd 1G DSM vs Jeff Bush’s auto 1G DSM years later to finally break the record. Jeff’s car is making more power and took a long time to get the engine development to that level, hence why the records

They’d have to do a custom aftermarket transmission if they went auto. The Mitsubishi SST unit is notoriously hard to build for high power, and involves a lot of tuning on the TCU. It’s still a great transmission, thought.

We were at MegaWeb about a year ago. We went over to the History Garage to look around. The mechanics were in the shop working on cars. Next to the counter where you pay for models was a small door with an “Open” sign on it. I asked if I could go in and was given the nod. It led right into the shop. The

Mustang, camaro, challenger were never muscle cars. They were pony cars.

And to be accurate Camaros, Mustangs, and Challengers aren’t muscle cars, they’re ponycars.

They are combing the desert.

I totally remember making a torso-mounted rifle thing out of those, it snapped over my chest/shoulders, and I would run around pretending I was in a firefight with it. Good times.

Awww shucks. Thanks. My very first COTD. :)

Those were those gray girders with the orange square connectors? If so yeah, I remember those.

Construx! I forgot about those!! Thanks for reminding me!!!

I got similar reactions driving a flat brown Saab 99.
