Putting aside the moral bankruptcy of this move, this is just stunningly bad PR.

Yep, the true inheritor of Stewart’s crown is Samantha Bee’s incisive Full Frontal. I can’t even remember the last time I watched a clip of The Daily Show, much less a full episode.

Full Frontal and Last Week Tonight are both miles better than modern TDS.

Even though Trevor Noah probably didn’t have anything to do with the tweet, this post still reminds me of how downhill the show has gone since John Stewart left. It’s cringe inducing.

I’m not sure what’s so hard to understand about his wanting to say his piece at the convention and have a role in shaping the party platform as much as possible before he gets behind Hillary. Please, don’t be a sore winner. It was a surprisingly tough campaign, someone had to win, and the person who crossed the finish line, to her credit, was Clinton. Most of us are now gearing up to stop Trump. Complaining about how your team won is not helping that effort. It never helps.

I agreee. I always thought that Hillary should have been uncontested as the democratic nominee. She should also win the GE by default. After all, this is what democracy is all about - no discussions, no competition of ideas, no choice for the voters. Simply a coronation. Bow to the Queen!

I liked that he acknowledged the sexism that plagues Clinton’s very existence.

I’m glad that he’s finally acknowledging defeat, but I’m also glad that he’s going to continue to push his progressive agenda. He’s made us have conversations that we wouldn’t have had otherwise. Hopefully Hillary will absorb some of his optimism and get shit done when she’s elected.

Somehow, rapists never have a responsibility not to rape, but rape victims are always entirely responsible for avoiding getting themselves raped. If it reaches the Supreme Court with only eight justices, a 4-4 split reverts back to the prior court’s decision. Bet the GOP wishes they had that moderately conservative judge Obama asked for now!
