Here's one from my area, but it's a Honda.

Man, the turning radius of this bad boy is probably something similar to the Earth revolving around the Sun

Now playing

They also just made their first car, ever. I am Cambodian, a huge petrol head, and not really one for hybrids/electric cars (although I believe there is potential) but I must say for a country who has never made a car before, this seems pretty solid. Maybe it's because I'm biased? haha.

Maybe access to the wiper motors?

edit: Didn't realize other people had said that it's the gas cap. I'm a fool I know

Okay so I don't know that much about solar panels, but I hear they need to be replaced after so long? Is that true, and if so would that apply to solar panels on a car? I do like that idea though of the sun powering things such as the A/C though. Also, I know regenerative braking exists, but could a car benefit from

12.2!

Haha. I'd still opt for the 6 speed manual. Because driving a 6 speed corolla would be interesting.

I had a 2013 Focus 5 door rental for about a month. As a guy who grew up with mainly Japanese cars, I have to say I'm pretty impressed, seeing as how the previous gen Focus's really sucked. Drove nice, handled nice (although this was the first car I drove with electric power steering, took some getting used to), and

I'm pretty sure it won't be. Our Yaris will probably still be at least 90% Japanese if not 100%. The reason the Yaris is made is in China is, well, it's cheaper for Toyota to have FAW make them over there, under license of course, than for Toyota to build then ship them to China.

They're waiting for the new Sandero to come out first.

Seems legit.

That's crazy, a Chinese built 206? I wonder if the build quality is any difference of that a French built 206. I also wasn't aware that the Chinese liked to buy French cars, lol.

Yeah a couple other Jalopnik-ers confirmed this too, just when I thought there was everything to know about the car industry, China pulls a 270 and decided to not build a knockoff. Who know's what's next? Lol

Ah well you learn something new everyday, right? A part of me really wishes it were a knockoff though.. What the hell you doin' China? Stick to your roots so us Americans can make fun of your products.

The Dongfeng Fukang! At first glance you'd mistake the name for a certain different word. Also, I don't know much about Chinese cars but I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Dongfeng is no way affiliated with Citröen, so I'm not sure why the Fukang is rockin' their grill..

Impromptu trip to Vancouver, go!

Everybody is always talking about how the Camry is a boring, dull, beige, uninspiring, beige, puts-you-to-sleep, beige car. But when it comes down to it, if you needed simple basic transportation with no fuss, the Camry is hands down a no brainer, at least in my opinion. Maybe because I'm biased towards Toyota, since

I'm curious, does that now mean the Caravan is FWD? Or is it RWD? I'm not too familiar with Caravans from that era because... well it's a Caravan.

I agree, I've always been interested in the differences in automotive culture between countries - especially between Europe and the US. As an American I can't help but say you must come see the US! We're not full of murderers and hill billies, depending where you are, but it's safe to say we're generally nice people.

Yeah, the Vitz over here only has a 1.5L petrol. The base model 3-door hatch "L" comes with a manual gearbox, standard, with no option for automatic. Proper. Apparently the Vitz models outside America are more agressive...? Or is that only in Japan lol
