The fact that pretty much no AAA game has been released on time in the last 10 years seems to contradict your anecdata as well.

Boy, at this rate I might have enough of a break from new releases to finally feel like I have the time to start Death Stranding. I’ve been avoiding it because I didn’t need another slow and methodical game, but I think I might just have the mental space to slow down and plod across barren landscapes while I wait for

The 10gb of this update is probably not all photo mode, it sounds like the quick save implementation was actually difficult  to accomplish after the fact. Would it have been difficult if they had built it in early? Probably not, but they hadn’t.

The concept is more difficult to get to grips with in your head than it is in practice, I imagine. I usually shy away from that model as well, but rarely does it feel demoralizing here.

Everything is better than it was in the first month. I can’t speak to specific fixes to the issues causing your experience, but I imagine it is significantly better now, as that’s been my experience. I’ve given the game a rest a few times and found it easier to do what I wanted to do each time I came back

GTA 3 introduced me to drum & bass with MSXfm and I have never looked back. I didn’t know music could do that, that an entire genre of music could use close enough to the same drum sample to be melded together into one continuous never-ending track.

Rider’s Republic was fun in the beta. The problem I’m having is I know I won’t play it a lot, so I don’t want to pay full price for it, but it’s the kind of game that benefits most from the larger player base of the first few weeks.

Who am I kidding, it’s Ubisoft, it’ll be half price a month from now when black friday

I feel that way about most games, tbh.

In other words, “like in all projects, alternatives were considered to minimize possible workload resources being used unnecessarily”.

OK, I’m right there with you on the choice tone for their copy, but the basic moves of this campaign as described by Wraithfighter are strong and will result in sales, since there are enough people in the world that don’t read the copy or care more about the function of the product than how it’s been written about.

Since when is a strong marketing campaign something to be cynical about?

I don’t disagree with you that more people who want to play a PS5 would be able to if scalpers would back tf off, however, I don’t think that PS would be selling fewer consoles without scalpers. The console would still be selling out, so OP’s comment is probably the wrong take.

If there is available stock in stores of

I feel like it’s not skewed in the direction you are thinking. If they are selling to scalpers that means that scalpers are able to make money on what they get, so demand is significantly higher than supply. If the PS5 is outselling the Switch, even though it’s only available to purchase for 10 minutes once a week or

Well, I signed the fuck up for that CNT.

The world of merchandise licensing is infinitely more complicated than just ‘receiving permission’, and receiving permission to make something that isn’t licensed and doesn’t end with Sony receiving royalties on every sale is literally never going to happen. Even receiving permission to make a specific thing when you

So which one do I get to buy [with a clean conscience], because these look amazing.

PAX West was an “or negative test” event and was able to tout 94% of attendees were fully vaccinated. When I saw the headline I thought they were just dropping safety requirements, but honestly while the negative test thing doesn’t prove that you aren’t currently contagious, this is a mostly outdoor event that will

There are licensed cars. I’ve seen Audis and stuff, but there are also more coming as post-launch additions, including McLaren and a Batmobile
