The societal logistics of the decoys boggled my mind: where did all the decoys live? Did all the separate Ricks have the wherewithal and finances to establish the family within neighboring...neighborhoods/cities? Morties and Summers just showing up at various high schools, etc.?

I love anytime we explore multiple dimensions on Rick and Morty, so this was a special treat: multiple Smith families in the same dimension, meaning that we now have infinite dimensions full of decoys. Did the Decoy War happen in all of them? Is there a dimension where all the decoys are still running around,

This was exhausting and really liked it.

I’ve long since come to the conclusion most of the reviewers do their watching while staring at their phones and tweeting about how “lol, reviewing new ep, can’t believe i get paid for this”.

You call them the “Summers family,” like, half a dozen times, but you also mention Summer, so. . . do you think her name is Summer Summer, or Summer Summers?

I hope Dan Harmon or one of the writers reads this because that would be an amazing episode, and just the kind of left turn this show is best at. Especially now that she’s a time god.

Yeah I figured if they ever did a Jessica episode, it’d show the rich life she has independent of Morty’s crush and how viewing someone just through that lense is very limiting.

I mean, if all he saw was a hooded/cloaked figure with magic powers and horns coming out of their head I could see him going that route and just pointing to the closest horned figure his little peasant brain could find.

I think the lyrics are a subtle way of foreshadowing.

Congratulations . . . ?

The theme song by Meghan Trainor will transport you.

Disney’s “The Old Man and the Sea”: The unlucky fishman catches the marlin (named Pedro to be culturally appropriate to this Latin American set tale) only to make friends with it. Together they work against the evil school of sharks that threatens them both.

My only issue is that Holding out for a Hero is far too hype a song for such a meh fight. It was like when Supergirl used Kickstart my Heart, and just didn’t have anywhere near the kinectic energy in the editing/action for that level of song.

Also I fully support destruction of the TVA. Not just because of free will and the erasure of other timelines. It’s just that the whole thing with it being so human based. And not just human - 1970s and US-centric.

I haven’t seen it but that’s the feeling I was getting even from the description.

I’m not excited about The Eternals. They seem the definition of generic.

Oh man, you didn’t check in to see how this insane stretch of a nothing-burger was getting roasted over at The Root? Cause it’s getting no traction there, and it feels like their readership should know.

Hol up, you’re telling me that St. Louis did something Klan related? THE St. Louis? The one in Missouri? Oh wow, who could have ever imagined that aside from literally every person on the planet or at least these United States? I had to look up who she was (I’ve tried with the Office but it’s just not funny; never

Is there no gay man at the AV Club who could write an article about queer casting in the only movie my gay ass has been excited about since 1997? I feel like I just ran into Lena Dunham in the bathroom at a gay bar. Artie could be the love child of Blaine Edwards and Antoine Merriweather and he still wouldn’t be as

I mean...who else would it be for? I can’t think of what a reunion special could do to appeal to fence-sitters or new potential fans.
