I honestly don’t think Bioware, as a studio, ever recovered from the ME3 ending debacle. That’s exactly where the unanimous and unending praise of the studio ended.

I can sympathize with it’s ground floor people and still hate a company. In what way has EA acted lately that isn’t villain like?
I’m going to politely suggest this: know your history. EA’s “Disney villain” image didn’t form in a vacuum, and is justified by the decisions they’ve made going back nearly twenty years. Maybe you don’t know about any of that; maybe you don’t care. Either way, it’s not “amazing” the perception exists - it’s the most…
I know all about that. I also understand BioWare Montreal did the multiplayer for ME3, which I was quite fond of. It gave me higher hopes for Andromeda than it ultimately deserved.
Just going to ignore history, huh? The overly aggressive DLC in BioWare’s games? The Battlefront II microtransaction disaster? The countless shuttered studios? You think because some employees didn’t shit on their bosses in an interview, none of that counts?
I dunno. On one hand, I feel like if Anthem works, then EA will just turn BioWare into a studio that just pumps out Anthem content and leaves everything else (Dragon Age, Mass Effect) to languish.
On the other, though, if Anthem doesn’t pan out, EA would probably just shut them down instead of letting BioWare get back…
We’ll have to wait and see how they pull it off, but that line about how the power of the heart has to be tempered by the self-control of the mind makes it seem like they plan to acknowledge that the rage-filled Kratos is gone, or at least changed.
Jason is reporting this..... so expect it to be delayed.
Good. Now the kids will have something violent to play while all the adults are busy with their new Labo sets.
Well then allow me to point you to a whole series of games that play and feel like the original God of War games!
Why? What good will going back to a tired well of action do forthe game? Ascension was bland & there really wasn’t any more mechanical complexity they could have added in a meaningful way
You mean 10$ more than a standard game? You are buying the game not just 70$ cardboard.
Have you seen the shit parents buy their kids
$70 includes the software. Most games are $60. And these are peripherals. Even if they are cardboard they perform functions of expensive controllers.
This is quite possibly the most Nintendo thing Nintendo has ever done.
Robot Cache ... aims to set itself apart from Valve’s 800-pound gorilla in two key ways: resellable games,
She also expressed her feelings to him the next day. He heard her out and apologized. I see no reason to doubt the sincerity of his apology. His statement on the matter affirms that he took her words to heart.
“It is you implying the people living in shitholes are shit people, not me.”
At most you’ll break one of the Joy-Con. Dark Souls destroying Joy seems appropriate, anyway.
I couldn’t shoehorn it into the post so: don’t give up, skeleton!
