Right, there is only one jacket in the universe.
Right, there is only one jacket in the universe.
Seriously. The butthurt is absurd.
I genuinely don’t see how this is a misstep. They’re not retconning her backstory, they’re slowly revealing more and more of it. Like they do with every character. It’s disingenuous to portray it otherwise.
Unless that outfit is made specifically to insult a culture or race I see zero reason to censor it. And no “maybe it was made to do it”, it has to be without a doubt. You start censoring questionably offensive materials and you end up with a lack of free expression.
Why can’t they just have cool outfits? Why should they even have to be justified? Should we scrub the Journey to the West outfits because they were put on characters who have no relationship to Chinese ancestry?
I wouldn’t wanna work at Blizzard, most of all on Overwatch. Probably can’t take a piss without someone getting offended about it.
1- Bethesda isn’t making you play through the game fast, your desire to publish fast is to blame for your rush.
I think it’s rather silly and shortsighted to slight someone for giving a negative review to a game while having this many hours on record playing it. There are a variety of reasons why, so I’ll try to get through them quickly:
Nah, this isn’t like the bullshit audio purists like to dole out about their million dollar sound system with their own line directly from the power company.
60fps is a real thing. Stop lying to people.
I can’t even play the video without my PC losing its mind.
Yeah but... the pun is brilliant. The hero gets the girl in the end.
Sure buddy whatever you say
I mean, if you don’t like it, fine, but to say that it was designed for “perverts” that are “living in basement” is a little extreme.
Actually, it’s incorrect to blame EA for this. The fault lies squarely at the feet of Bioware. Its been publicly stated that EA offered the team an extension on the release date, but Bioware leadership considered the game good to go.
When about a fourth of your game time is in conversations, yes, it does completely matter. Having properly expressive faces helps sell the voice acting and the story the Bioware sold us. This is equivalent of writing a good novel but then choosing a very shitty font. It ruins the experience and could have easily been…
Mixed feelings. On the one hand, yes. Good on them for fixing issues and listening to player feedback. Double good on them for even being patient enough to deal with hostile and outright disproportionate rage over a game that’s still at least ok without the fixes.
They should be commended for being willing to fix the issue, but they should be chastised for shipping the product in the state they did. They should not have shipped the game with such dead-eyes.
Yes, the online campaign was wrong and bad.
