Okay, what planet are you living on where pushing someone off a bridge is a “mistake”? It doesn’t matter that she didn’t intend for it to be malicious, she should have known better.

Well, in this case she did hurt someone, and very badly too. It may not have been malicious, but the fact that her judgment is so poor that she would do this suggests that someone with this weapons-grade-level stupidity can’t be trusted to be in society.

I was 15 when this album came out and it was a god damned revelation to me and my friends. Finally, someone who was as fucking PISSED as we were and not ashamed or afraid of what it meant to be angry.

As a kid that hit middle school a year after this album came out, Jagged Little Pill felt like the first time I had permission to be ANGRY or disgruntled.

Gotta disagree hard on this one. IMO Jagged Little Pill holds up as a top 10 90s album. It’s a viscerally angry album and Alanis is SO GOOD at getting her emotions across.
