Call me crazy but....   ...I fucking love the look of the Clown Shoe. There's something about it, specially from the rear, that's a fine looking ass if you ask me. I'll own one one day.

As an owner of a 2006 BMW X3 Sport Package with a 6 speed manual, that is a pretty good price if negotiated with and if there wasn’t a lien issue to work with. As for the vehicle itself, most folks here on Jalopnik just like to talk shit about something they haven’t had any experience with. We’ve had ours in the

Yes, this is true. As I observed the other day, if you took the 911, made it lighter, physically moved the engine forward so it handled better, and deleted two seats, you’d expect Porsche to charge *more* for it, not less.

The 987 is one of the best-driving modern Porsches ever made, so.......ya did well.

Yes, the US moved toward a service economy long ago, and we are *good* at it. We aren’t going to compete on the world stage by “bringing back” textile, coal, steel and horse and buggy jobs while deregulating all environmental protections.

Independent and summer college league games are the best, especially with kids. You can usually park close (and for free), tickets are cheap and there are constantly doing promotions to make them even cheaper, food is reasonable, and you can sit right on top of the action.

Minor league games are the answer here. All the fun of a baseball game with dirt cheap tickets, reasonably overpriced amenities, and, unless you’re really into baseball, perfectly serviceable baseball. I haven’t been to a big leagues sports event in a decade, but I hit a dozen minor league games every summer.

This sort of thing used to make me irrationally mad, but these days it just makes me sad more than anything. As it has in so many other critical junctions in history, baseball is merely a bellwether of society at large. What is America these days, if not a gaudy strip mall/food court where rich people/companies are

“I don’t know what kind of business you’re in, but I tell ya what, if I was a head of a newspaper, and you didn’t do your job, you’d be held accountable.”

You love to sit across bright people who want to charm and impress you, it’s a tremendous ego boost, but bullshitters do great in interviews,

That looks cool, but is it a maneuver you would ever want to do in combat?

I think that may be the wrong question to ask, I think the better question to ask is whether the premium price at CarMax is worth the relatively low hassle experience versus another used car dealer.

(Oh god I’m about to become The Guy Who Defends A Former College Football Coach. God help me.)

Possibly, but chances are better that if they are calling me they have either seen my work and/or have been referred by a previous client.

Not specific to the Rays, but my theory based on personal experience and preferences is that HDTV has changed everything for every major sport.

Or you could live in Canada where I don’t know when the last time they didn’t have a mobile pay machine with the chip technology and you fill out the tip on the machine.

Have you driven a 4Runner lately, though? I have always loved them and I am very glad that Toyota still builds them, but they are not as easy to drive and live with nor are they as comfortable as something like this Pilot. My wife and I are picking up a Pilot Touring AWD this weekend after initially wanting a 4Runner

Granted, it’s not quite as roomy as the Pilot, and some people still get “rust twitches” when they think of Mazda... but I’d take a CX-9 Signature ($46,660) over a Pilot Elite. It’s definitely a better experience from the driver’s seat. Also looks better if you ask me, but looks are subjective.

This is 100% a studio-driven trend. These slack rear angles are terrible for aerodynamic drag and packaging. Upright back glass is good for reducing drag. This is all design studio. Artists trading fuel economy and usable space for “style”.
