What the NCAA does goes beyond simply not paying students, it strips students of money they could otherwise be making.

But the facts of the matter make that about the only explanations. The pilot either fell out or jumped out of the aircraft at some point after take off, leaving the aircraft to crash when it ran out of fuel. That really isn’t all that mysterious.

Am I missing something here? The guy set the autopilot and bailed / jumped / fell out. Plane ran out of gas. Everything seems explained on how the plane ended up in the snow.

It was most likely a speed camera. The U.K. is overrun with them to an extent that is hard for most US drivers to comprehend if you’ve never driven there. I’m willing to bet that some of her other tickets were also speed camera generated.
