I see where you are coming from work this, but let me play devil’s advocate with a hypothetical- if the tech reduced the fender bender type accidents significantly enough resulting in lower insurance premiums would you then favor it? I know lots to hypothetic here, but like the wild kratts say “ what if!”

Manual with awd exists. Not sure how rare, but I daily drive one. But you are right about dirt road only, and that better be a fairly decent dirt road.
