I'm getting the regular version but it's still sad news to hear that. I just hate the way developers "promise" things like this, it's like they only do it to build hype then take away the extras and pretend like they were never there to begin with, for shame.

If I had a ps3 I would be tempted to get that game. How awesome would it be to sing "Who Wants To Live Forever" and for a game to tell you how crap you are. =)

Getting very excited over this film, I been praying for a CG Resi Evil film that follows the games ever since first seeing the intro's for Resident Evil 2 way back when. And funnily enough it keeps the same two characters.

@twinturbo2: Yeah I would love a new Daytona USA but only if they do it properly and it runs at a full 60 FPS like the arcade originals. Sega Rally Revo was just a huge disappointment, Sega Rally 2 and the original Daytona USA in the arcades are still my faves.

If this is only a Japanese release like RE Zero then I'm not surprised, nor should any of you. The Japanese see games as more than just games but also and in some cases, more so as collector's items.

Nice to see that Sega is still kicking arse in the arcades. Although some would feel this is too late (this film is about as old as I am), I say it's never too late for a great game and some good ol nostalgia.

Here's hoping this is more like PSO combat rather than the boring PSU combat. Still at least PSU had a cool lobby system.

It's not his fault he had to fire people, the company wasn't making enough money and so it had to take action to keep itself alive and he just so happened to be the "higher up" that had to give people the sack. It's business I'm afraid.

Looks interesting but I still think Sega should get off their backsides and revive Worldwide Soccer on the DS.

Sounds good to me, I like to see every console owner get the chance to play great games even if RE5 itself is looking pretty medicore compared to previous instalment's.

I actually found it rather fun although I did find the planes in the Osama boss fight to be bad taste...

Are they Zombies? They just look like more of that Ganado crap from RE4 if you ask me. And overall RE5 is not looking like anything more than a glorified version of RE4 which is good for some but bad for us veteran RE fans of the original formula.
