The decision to vote either Trump or Clinton is not a simple difference of opinion. The man is openly hostile towards women, immigrants, people of color, and, to a lesser extent, LGBT folks (although Pence more than makes up for it on that front). And this doesn’t even take into account how erratic and capricious he

Go fuck yourself.

We’re not saying that every Trump voter is a bigot. What’s clear, though, is that every Trump voter is just fine with bigotry. That’s just as bad. Every person that voted for him knew exactly what he stood for and decided that they wanted it.

Stay and talk with people of like-mind,

You mean the suffering of policies and funding that support programs and initiatives that benefit the middle and lower class? Like Planned Parenthood? Like healthcare for all? Like taxes that don’t overburden them and reward those at the top?

Mexico’s a better bet, anyway. There will be a giant goddamn wall between me and Trumpites.

Okay, I am done watching Fox News.

Can someone else takeover?

It’s like these folks came out of the Rust Belt to vote against their own self-interests in order to burn some other disadvantaged folks that they thought were getting a better shake.

I woke this morning extremely confused. In theory as a Repub I should be happy, but I’m not. I can not believe the country could possibly be this stupid, but yeah actually I can.

First of all, best of luck to you and your son.
Second, I’m right there with you. I’m a cancer survivor (or what ever you call someone who’s been cancer free for 1 year) and I’m wondering if I’ll ever be able to get insurance again after this guy is done.

All I can offer as comfort is that politics can only play as big a role in your life as you let it.

The idea of blaming Democrats for running a highly capable and qualified candidate against the horror that is Trump - blaming US for this situation - is offensive and absurd. It is NOT the fault of the party that chose someone qualified to lead. It is the fault of the people and party that chose a racist, unqualified,

Politics have very real world implications on a lot of us. Trump promised to wreck our current insurance system. I need the current insurance system. Without the current insurance system I cant afford my sons open heart surgery.

Very minor issues when compared to Trump, who actually had to ask professionals (who were aghast that a presidential nominee would ask this question) why we don’t just start nuking countries (plus hes a complete clown that has no viable ideas for helping the country).

To the 55M who thought Trump was a good idea...

Look no further than my home state Florida... Johnson is getting 200+k votes while Hillary is losing by less than 140+k votes as I type this. I am seething at the holier-than-thou, protest-voting pieces of shit that can’t or refuse to realize that voting for leader of the free world is not picking your bff but

The problem is not so much that Donald Trump would be an awful President and set the country back - he would. But it would be really hard for any one man to truly destroy the country no matter how hard he tries. Especially when a substantial part of his own party despises him.

No, I agree with you. You need to pick your battles, but there is definitely a line. What you wrote doesn’t conflict with what I wrote, because it’s not a black and white issue.
