I can buy that that the ideas some video games promote can influence a kid’s brain. If a character supports war and the game largely treats that as a positive then I can see that influencing a kid to be more likely to support war measures as they grow up. Even then, the kid’s just “more likely”. It’s not gonna flip a

Do you think their attitude towards white people might be explained by living in a country that is roughly 60% white, where they are frequently exposed to racist nonsense both subtle and unsubtle that probably gets really really old and tired to them over time, and have to deal with the knowledge that this issue has

The adult in me understands. The kid in me is fucking incensed and what’s their McDonald’s cheeseburger RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

I STAND WITH SAM!

I hope you get your own place soon, so that you can grow up and realize how fortunate you are.

I started to type out a whole explanation but...it’s complicated.

1-60 has several different storylines depending on what general region you’re leveling in. But the issue is that in one expansion the 1-60 experience was updated completely, so when you move on to Outland you’re actually going back to storylines that

Pardon me, but who are you to say that “we know that’s not true”? There are plenty of people with enough self control to stay away from consuming media involving people they don’t like.

What sort of experience are you speaking from, here?

Since David Cage wants me to judge him by his work, I’d say that judging from his games, this is probably one of the least surprising things I’ve heard in recent news.

Please don’t speak for me.

Mercy’s been my favorite character since the game came out, but something definitely needed to change about Valkyrie. However, in my mind that something always came down to the resurrect. I think her off-ult resurrect is fine, but the Valkyrie version of that ability is silly and shitty to play against. The nerf

For as much as I trash talk its romance story, Final Fantasy VIII is actually pretty important to me. After the first year of high school, my best friend moved away to Los Angeles. My other friends had already been gradually drifting away as puberty and time changed them in various ways, so I was left for the moment

Mae Borowski, from Night in the Woods. She’s such a trash animal, but in ways that are endearing and in ways that I can’t help but recognize in myself. She wasn’t the most heroic, she wasn’t the most selfless, she certainly wasn’t the most well spoken.

But I do believe she was the most well written, well communicated,

Not to mention she saves the one she loves by smashing a dangerous high speed spaceship into his dangerous high speed spaceship, a move that throughout the series until this very moment has resulted in both ships exploding horribly.

Not counting My Hero Academia’s second season?

Ancient Magus Bride, easily. This show has constructed a wonderful world of magic that’s both small in scope but wonderfully mystical and fantastic. It has so much warmth packed into it, it’s the only new show outside of Little Witch that remains on my watch list.

This movie cares a lot about subverting expectations and not at all about good plotting and story beats.

I’m very uncomfortable with the level of intimacy displayed between Twitch streamers and their audience. I’ve seen streamers humoring questions and behavior that would’ve been unthinkable from other types of celebrities.

I think this is just a matter of me being a bit too old, though. Maybe it’s fine? I don’t know.

Is this stance about a stranger you don’t know really worth taking the time to defend to a bunch of other strangers?

People are so eager to be so judgmental these days. Don’t get me wrong though, people shouldn’t be making assumptions about your character based on this disagreement either.

I love Geralt because he’s a gigantic dweeb. He’s just this grumbly dork and it’s so endearing to me, and it’s made even better in Witcher 3 where he’s a grumbly dork dad.

I’m beginning to worry about the cult of personality that seems to be popping up around Kojima. We’re three trailers deep now and we still haven’t seen a hint of gameplay, but Kojima is surrounded by high profile directors, actors, and gaming personalities calling him a genius and saying they’ll do anything for him.

I’ve been replaying through the series recently in chronological order according to when the historical portions of the game take place, and after playing through Assassin’s Creed and the Ezio trilogy, Black Flag is a breath of fresh air.
