ABQ native, and I’m glad you’ve had good experiences. There are a number of conservative pockets in the city, especially the NE heights and the West Side (especially Taylor Ranch and Paradise Hills), but for the most part your impression is spot on. I love living here and will never leave!

I was born and raised in ABQ, and there is no racial quota on crime. White, Hispanic, black, Vietnamese...there is plenty of it to go around. That being said, I love my town and can’t wait to go back.
