"You don't fit the device, the device fits you." - Apple's own words about the iPad. "Fit the device, or the device is useless." - Apple's advice for the iPhone 4.

@jchonan: It's not usually just a matter of conversion. Especially with products featured on Gizmodo. Brits tend to pay more. iPad - $499/£429. But we never know till they drop the bombshell on us a few months after a US announcement.

Ha! See how it feels, for once, thou American, to receive product prices in Pounds and have to wait for Dollars!

When I hear that Palm is working on more products, I get this image of thousands of gold coins being poured into a bottomless pit.

@Damien Lavizzo: Oh come on, that's pedantic isn't it? The heart of the issue was in the size of dots, be they pixels on screen or ink-dots on paper.

@Damien Lavizzo: Oh right so printers create images with magic, not dots.

"Retina display" not only sounds cool, it's one of the best Apple marketing buzzwords we've yet been treated to - sheer genius.

@Izod517: A 326ppi display would also make typos clearer :P

Explaing?

How is that "to." domain valid? Surely that URL is malformed?
