He probably could not deal with the fact that any hopes at a professional career were completely dashed. Poor soul. He may have done something regrettable, but he never deserved this. May he rest in peace.

Yeah it is pretty standard stuff, but like I said these folks don't get caught often and it is nice to see an entire task force dedicated to these crimes.

Ignorance at work, one of the greatest human flaws is taking a sensational event and using it to make an emotional decision, discounting or ignoring statistical evidence. You are still thousands of times less likely to die on a commercial flight than you are driving a car, no matter what the news says today.

I read this story off of a reddit link, and a lot of people also came to her defense in keeping the car. The fact is, a known vehicle with a known maintenance history is a relatively smart decision over selling and getting a possible clunker. Controlling risk is just as important as controlling finances.

I cannot believe that ABS didn't make the list. This is widely taken for granted.
