She has written individual episodes for cable tv shows. Also, writing for tv (especially cable network shows) is not the same as writing for film. It's a different process, and often doesn't translate well to film.

Writing for television and writing for film are two vastly, VASTLY different beasts. The writing is a much more industrial process for the former.
