So much "yes" to the headphones and mechanical keyboard. You don't even have to go all-out with either item. I'm using an Aurvana headphone (the first one, not the 2nd version) and a Thermaltake keyboard which combined wouldn't even break the $150 barrier, and they've changed my home computing and gaming experience

Can I give it a shot, too? Kings fan?

I think that advanced metrics inefficiency doesn't mean bad basic stats, only that AI needs more possessions to do damage, which he had because, like you said, none of his other teammates were that good. Conversely, that's how good Iverson is, advanced stats be damned.

To be fair, those Pistons faced a pouting Payton and Malone on one leg during the Finals. This isn't to say that those Pistons wouldn't have won it all had team chemistry and health gone well for the Lakers, only that it would've been more competitive than the 5-game laugher those Finals turned out to be.

I laughed at this far longer than I should have (which I'd say is pretty long to begin with). Here's your complimentary +1.

Another fine article from you, Annalee. Thanks for this.

I'm of the persuasion that there are people like David and the rest who got out of their cars to help even before 9/11. The world would be a more f'd-up place than it is if humanity only learned, well, humanity when the twin towers fell.

Man, I would've enjoyed seeing her go toe-to-toe with David "I-know-where-the-skeletons-are-buried" Stern, but alas.

For me, it feels like this texture pack makes the game lose some of its appeal. But that's just me, I have no qualms that others like it and I respect this pack's author (authors?) for doing what he/she/they does/do.

I used to have almost all of these in my feed reader back when Google Reader was still around. Trimmed it down to Awkward Zombie, Brawl in the Family, and Penny Arcade. Doesn't look like that'll change anytime soon, sadly.

Noted. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for sharing the gloriousness of pork belly. I live in a country where grilled pork belly is a mainstay local dish and my heart hates me for it.

The Suns were over 0.500 last year, only that they're playing in the very tough West.

I'd say it is top-20, at least. There are some good writers that Grantland has given exposure to, like Zach Lowe. Although I will admit to not knowing all the stuff ESPN has done over the years, and they've been around longer than I have, if I'm not mistaken.

Interesting. May I ask if the weapons you guys wield have sharp edges? I'm assuming they don't to avoid unintentional slicing and stuff.

The hypothetical scenario you lay out is so painfully realistic that real life will probably copy it to some degree.

I'm not sure that the video game royalties is as big as you think it is. My understanding is that the out-of-contract guys have to sign a Legends contract with WWE for them to appear in video games (among other things). It's likely that Yuke's (WWE game's developer) only deals directly with the WWE and the latter

There are also the numerous charitable deeds he did. So even as he fought battles within, he was also batting for other less-fortunate people.

I'd be very interested if you do a write-up about those sort of people.

Thanks for the insightful comment. Even without Ward's unfortunate demise, it seems like there are a couple of safety issues sprint car event organizers have to address. Anytime visibility can be improved (more lights, etc.), they should be.
