I'll play devil's advocate and ask how Shippoyasha defines fit when he uses the word. Body types can be deceptive and a slim body doesn't exactly mean that it's fit, as well as a big body doesn't mean a person is obese.

That killed me. +1

I wouldn't be against live scores, as long as there's enough flexibility in the resulting site layout that wouldn't intrude with space that's dedicated for blog posts.

Another fine piece. I expected nothing less from you.

"It's much harder to imagine Indiana repeating as conference champions" - Maybe this should read as division champs instead?

For sure, but I don't think that's stopping some teams from making a long reach and hope against hope (not that they'll succeed, of course).

I'm thinking that Cleveland can just wait for Love to hit the FA market next year and make a run for him then. That way, they can bank on Love's "intrigue" (as per reports) with playing with LeBron and they don't lose Wiggins.

If you're reusing, you're stealing.

I don't post much here on DS, but I try to speak online the way I speak in real life, and I'm a diplomatic sort of guy, so there. You're not being rude with your posts, so I don't see why I should be rude to you.

I did the same, as well. Absolutely annoying.

I think your wonderful advice applies to people of all genders. I usually refrain from most things ESPN, but I have this urge to buy this particular issue just for the eff you it directs to body-shaming folk.

I'm thinking that those people mostly just want models to look at, and just ties-in the healthy/fit aspect as an afterthought, or as one of those positive characteristics some people assign to good-looking people.

I think the basic capitalistic premise of someone being worth whatever someone else is willing to pay him applies. We can have our own valuations on how much Fielder is worth, but it's mostly an academic discussion at this point.

When you start to live the lifestyle that has you spending millions of dollars, you'd want to keep that up, hence the desire to get max money. This is exacerbated by the idea that athlete's careers are short, so if they want to keep the million-dollar lifestyle going until they die, it's good to have stashed gonzo

"Nobody here forgets how Wade used to be." - Yes, even Kyle mentioned that Wade is a lock for the HoF in this piece.

Another scenario to consider. If LeBron wants to maximize his chances of winning, why not take a short-term deal with MIA (say, two to three years) and then jump to CLE when those young pieces have matured? I think a lot of people are limiting LeBron to just being able to sign a huge long-term extension when he can

Bosh doesn't even have to find a very specific right team for his skill set. He's good enough to tailor his game to the team he plays for. He even expanded his range when the Heat needed to stretch the defense to allow for Wade and LeBron penetrations. People are seriously underrating Bosh. He's definitely not LeBron,

Varejao seems to be a bigger injury risk every year. While I love his hustle, I think the Cavs should get value for him while they can, especially if it means adding Love (assuming LBJ is already on board).
