I personally didn’t have a problem with the controls in the mobile port, so I might be fine with this; it was a decent enough compromise given there was only one screen. Gita, did you play the mobile version? Was the input lag there too? I don’t remember it being present, but it seems fresher in your mind.

i played MGS3 for the first time on a new 3ds, so extra nub included. most people would probably scoff at this, play on xbox collection hd etc, but it was one of my favorite gaming experiences. something about putting headphones on, 3d turned up and diving into the bonkers story of snake eater became a daily treat. 

I’m not sure I agree. I don’t see any reason/evidence that it was staged. 

It’s still outmatching both PS4 and X1 in exclusives for the current lifespan. All they get are multi-platforms, so what’s so wrong with a system late to the game getting ports to catch up as well as still being on pace to having more exclusives than the competition combined.

That would require Nintendo accepting that not every person wants to play a game in the exact way that Nintendo envisions them. Nintendo knows best and only has the best ideas, and you better fall in line.
