Slow clap

I agree with you. I wish we hadn’t ever let Reagan, Trump, Ventura, Arnold, etc. near politics. None of them contributed anything positive to our society but were still able to do plenty of bad.

The only hope I have in Cynthia Nixon is that she has experience with organizing for and championing causes at a local level.

I don’t understand how these folks are so transparent in their corruption and conflicts of interest yet there’s no tangible action taken to prevent it from continuing. Are people really that thirsty to ride the gravy train themselves?

The difference is that Cynthia Nixon isn’t a Reaganomist, a conspiracy theorist, or both. She also has a background in activism. While I’m wary of another celebrity candidate, this might actually be the first decent one.

That’s not necessarily an indictment of the past, present, and would-be victims. It’s just the truth.

I say we crowdsource money to get “the white working class” some bootstraps. They are always talking about them but apparently don’t have any to pull themselves up by.

Because many black folks see one of their own winning and are worried about how it would look to take another L. It’s why Chris Brown still makes music too, why Cardi B’s LGBTQ ignorance gets excused, why the Knowles’ can perform at Coachella, why people think OJ is innocent, why people think Kanye just needs to be

Yes

Damn Trump wins the Presidency and people start posting tutorials about how to upgrade your hard drive. We didn’t go THAT far back.

I’ve stayed in the greys when asking this so maybe I’ll have better luck in a pertinent post...

Three 6 Mafia’s win happened because they, along with Terrence Howard, were accessible and inclusive. On one hand, you have rappers that personify everything Hollywood thinks about black people. On the other, you have an actor that was white-wimmens struck and loved rubbing elbows until Downey Jr reminded him that

Dipset did it first and you can guess how well it went

What’s your take on Beyonce et al doing Coachella? I’m glad to see black people entering historically white spaces but rewarding the oppressors...*cough*...organizers with a GOAT performance doesn’t sit well with me. I can’t ever tell if a person’s motivation for wanting a seat at the table is because they deserve to

I feel like DC would be a much better place for this. The topography is more forgiving and aside from the areas where diagonal streets converge, the city is designed like a grid.

I almost wish false accusations like this worked like when Amazon says your package was delivered but it’s not there. You said you got shot by two black men but weren’t? So sorry for the inconvenience sir. We’ll overnight you that fade.

Noticed we can’t have an article on Hispanics/Latinos without @chocolatechipcookiesforbreakfast talking about how bad the white man is but remember them thinking Spanish, a European language, is fixed and shouldn’t adapt as we learn more about the mestizaje. Trying to dismiss activists and academics is part of the

Grassley and Craig. I didn’t even have to think about it.

The flipside was all the “he doesn’t even go here” sentiment towards Bernie Sanders. People LOVE their party politics, actual candidates be damned.

I’m just here for all the white people who thought the FBI was/is about finding out the truth.

“I don’t go around saying I’m an Irish American or an East Texas Moonshining American or anything else.”

Some things don’t need to be said to be heard loud and clear...
