I owned various Brit sports cars for over 30 years and did all my own work. But advancing age, lack of garage/shop, and increasing complexity of cars have driven me to using professionals. Do I regret not working on my cars; all the time, until my professional mechanic reminds me that fuel starvation isn't caused

Yes, but it doesn't have to be integral. My smart phone WAZE is much better than any auto makers system because it's free! So what if I have to stick it on the windshield. In a few years we'll be able to retro fit a version of Apple or Android cart to our infotainment systems.

We Boston drivers are so talented, we can do this on straight, dry pavement, on sunny days; and in fact, we do!

But how could L.A. have the worst drivers, when we all know Boston drivers are the worst? This is a proud mantra of all Bostonians, who are quick to blame people from New Hampshire and Rhode Island for slowing them down. Apparently, these people don't realize that the rest of the country covers the horn and readies

Haven't you seen the articulated arms on garbage trucks? Putting junk mail in the box is the easy part. Best of all, no people, no payroll, no benefits or workers comp. budget now balanced.

Dynamic scoring allows Republicans to cut taxes, not cut expenses and still balance the budget, because the theory says, tax reduction will so stimulate the economy that job growth will off set the tax reduction.

I'm assuming, of course, that if it was your job that was lost or your home state that would have gone bankrupt due to the collapse of GM & Chrysler that you'd be in agreement. Hopefully, concern for your fellow citizens or at least enlightened self-interest would find favor with saving those jobs. BTW, since taxes

Bought an '03 SL 500 2 years ago. Love the car, but it's more of a GT than a sports car.

You're correct, if you view government as a monolith, but if government is the people joining together for the common good, then you're wrong.

The Elise is the car that brought Lotus to the market and the everyday driver. The super 7 and others were really track cars, while the Elise was the not only a track car but a road car. As for the unreliability, that was a part of all sports cars, just like Lucas electrics and rust.

We just purchased a new Cherokee Latitude, which I priced and compared against the Hyundai Santa Fe and Ford Escape. For the price, and for the vehicle itself, the Jeep was hands down the winner. The Hyundai was nearly ten grand more, based on Jeep' actual selling price with a cabin as nice as any in that market.

I agree, this also the best at keeping hot and cold. I have to put an ice cube in mine to cool the coffee enough to drink it, it stays hot for two hours.

Up until recently, I had a 50 mile in each direction in the Boston metro area, typically 3 to 5 hours a day. I had a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe FWD, v6. The car was quiet, could move smartly when needed, had great visibility, really comfortable cloth seats and a great audio system, including usb direct for my iPod. The

I agree, the fact that someone got the keys, even an employee, indicates the dealership failed to properly secure the vehicle. The story didn't say if the owner has comprehensive insurance coverage. If he does, recommend he file a comp claim and then let his insurance company chase the dealer.

Last week, it took me 3 hours 15 min. to cover 50 miles on my way to work on Rte 128 (I- 93) outside Boston, MA. No accidents, no bad weather, just traffic and incompetent drivers!

I'm concerned that so many people responding to this post think the answer is to start shooting. The reality is that these semi fascist states have to constantly project power to thir internal & external clients to survive. But they know they can't win a shooting war with the US and they know we'll excercise

I have two, one for each car, holds the iPhone 5 securely and the android before it. Best phone holder!

They don't go after the "perp" because they are almost always judgement proof, i.e., no assets. Consider the serious injuries that can result from chasing criminals, I'd say, let's have the car for, they can catch them later. That why they have radios!

Actually, governmental immunity exists in all states and federal jurisdictions. Neither polic nor governmental entities can be sued for acts of criminals. In some cases failure to promptly respond or failure to respond appropriately to an emergency call cand be litigated, but depends on circumstances. Frankly most

had same experience with old Brit cars, except usually I'd really need a wrecker.
