Funny I was recently listening to an interview with Adam Curtis & Robert Del Naja about their 'Adam Curtis v. Massive Attack' concert back in 2013 (needing an Adam Curtis fix while waiting for HyperNormalisation to come out), and they cited the Zoo TV Tour & Zoo TV itself as one of their influences in the way they

Oh man I just remembered asking about the guitar work on that song to my guitarist friend and he explained to me that that effect is reverse reverb, which I was only familiar with at the time from The Smith's 'How Soon Is Now'

Yeah I always thought (or heard someone say) that those last three songs form a beautiful triptych. When you're young and in love as I was at the time and listen to those three songs as an arc it's immensely powerful. The earlier parts of the album tend to be noticed more but it really does end on a really intense

Funny thing I cancelled my Spin magazine when their reviewer called it "an ambitious failure."

The Rent! I'm Too Damn High!

Whew. For a second there I thought you were talking about Max Fleischer. I'd have a horrible new perspective on Popeye (and Art Deco Superman too).

I think I gave her a negative rating on The Facemash back at Harvard in 2003. Just kidding…Tila has no idea what Harvard even is.

BTW, this is one of the most awesome comments I've seen since 11/9. Kudos!

Sean Parker for President! A million crazy Dumpster Fire memes aren't cool. You know what's cool? A billion crazy Dumpster Fire memes.

Funny I just re-watched that Monday night. To think, an impulse, angry, dorm room "Hot or Not" clone eventually became the main way human beings communicate with one another.

!JAZZ!

You should make a citizens arrest of Obama and black bag him & transport him to the Hague for war crimes, because clearly he's worse than Hitler/Stalin/Pol Pot/Caligula/Vlad the Impaler/Satan/Cthulhu and the Evil Universe from Event Horizon combined, times Elevendy Kajillion.

Please cite your sources* that Ukrainians are Nazis. I'll accept all dictionary definitions:

Stop parroting Putinist propaganda. Neo Nazi's my ass…WTF did you think "Dead Snow" was a documentary? I'd be a pretty upset Ukrainian if Russia annexed Crimea, attempted to take over the Donbas region, and shot down Air Malaysia flight MH17. Not to mention shelling Syrian FSA fighters in Aleppo. I'm certain Putin

Man, I wish my high school driver's ed class was so underfunded that they could only afford to show Pinnacle Educational Shorts like Drunk Driving with Gusto!

I love how consistently half-assed Wallach's character was that it would be completely consistent that he'd greenlight an animated puffin that would fly and make stupid bleep bloop bleep noises. The little details like that make this show and this episode such a gem.

Magenta Fever claimed a lot of hairlines in the 30's.

Love the apostle with the hard Scottish accent.

As I learned from that insightful Jerry Wallach documentary this week, puffins can not only fly, but they make wacky bleep bloop bleep noises. If I become infested with these little monsters, I may have use for your machine.

“So if we’re all gonna die, what difference does it make? Who cares? Nothing I can do about it … or is there?!”
