Most consoles had shitty launch lineups, a Zelda at launch and a month later a Mario Kart (next to a bunch of other things) is among the better launch window lineups of most consoles.

Replace PS3 with almost every system launch ever, and the idea that nobody is holding a gun to people’s heads to buy at launch. Even when systems get third party support at launch, it’s often ports of last gen versions and it takes a year or so for the next gen versions to be next gen
