I'd assume that it wasn't finished, or polished enough to be released.
obviously it was not completed or it would've been released.
I think it's just the wording. cause a throwback to oldschool, or making it "like" an oldschool game seems like a better description.
3d games do not make me thing "oldschool" ... that might mean I'm old.
Socializing is a very tough balancing act sometimes.
maybe it's something in your personality that makes them think you're not playing them yourself. cause.. I absolutely never get told anything if I don't have a kid with me. also, you say there's no other stores nearby... so it may have something to do with being a more rural location.
I don't feel that being told a game is rated M, or that being told a rated M game isn't for children is an affront to you or I personally. I think it's meant to say "hey, do you know what an M rating is? cause I have no idea what your knowledge level of games is. I am a 32 year old woman who buys M games for myself…
You shouldn't be a bitch.. that would be stupid to take that advice. but I mean.. 20 minutes of being harassed? that's not really tolerable!
does this happen every time you get something from that location? or just once?
stores in the US are required to not sale rated M games to people under 17. the store gets fined if they do. which is why kids bring their parents in to buy the games.
my 7 year old daughter is just getting to the point where she's comfortable watching high action movies. I find the ESRB ratings for games that I'm not…
Have you tried being rude back to the employee?
You can cut them off, and tell them that they are making it more likely for you to submit a complaint to the district manager and thus doing your game shopping online.
You shouldn't be harassed because you have a child with you when you buy a game. That employee should…
yes!
It is seriously not difficult for an adult to look at the back of a box and see what the rating is. Unlike movies, it tells you WHY it has the rating. Comic violence? awesome! my 7 year old daughter will have a go at it! Intense violence, nudity and strong sexual content? I suppose I'll have to play that after her…
is that why it's still for sale at walmart and target? because no one's ever heard of it?
you're saying that when you have kids, you think they won't be going in the mancave eh? lol you dont' know how kids work! hehehe M games are for after bedtime. which makes my husband and I weep a little =)
give her control? lies! she took it and graciously allowed you to have your own space =)
do you have room for one? you should have some say in your house lol
We used to have a game room... but somehow the livingroom has turned into it.
;)
agreed.
the fix for that is getting the equivalent of a den/mancave/gameroom. that, or date/marry a girl that likes things like that lol
most specialty wall decals that I've seen cost way more than I would spend. some of them are awesome! but I feel that for the cost I'd almost rather just paint them on the wall myself lol
=)
this guy is crazy!
reminds me of paddy doyle.
