I'm quite surprised tactics didn't make the cut.. it's not like it was DLC. It was a stand-alone game that... was awesome. I still have my copy, case and all!.. given I still have 1 &2 too.. but.. I dunno. I'm disappointed that tactics was intentionally overlooked.

But they weren't useless during regular battles. I think they were mostly ok if set on the right mode... short of a few frustrations, they were ok for me.

Mr Funke, your partners were total bitches who would disappoint.. the way around it is to set them to not use any magic unless you were in a boss fight. They'd definitely make bad decisions, but they would be tolerable.
