I would not say that is the worst case in the least. It is at a relatively slow speed. Think about a drunk hurtling across the median at 90 mph and hitting you at an offset. There are a tonne of worse hits to get.

People do hit trees and walls and posts. I think that was at 35 mph, you hit another car offset at 60 I suspect the forces would be pretty high. If you think these old cars were safe then that’s what you think. Cars are getting safer.

I dont think the story is displaying correctly, I dont see a whole lot about the dyno or how it compares to others. They gave a few numbers but Nelson racing engines seems to test a lot higher than that (those videos are fun).
