Correct on many accounts, but the fact of the matter is that I want a sexy wagon regardless of the presence of diesel/manual/awd etc. The lack of wagons in North America blows (in everything but the luxury segment). I don't want a JSW/Golf Wagon.

Dammit, I saw this post early and you beat me to it! I saw the new Lincoln line-up at the autoshow this year and immediately thought of a family of whales.

C&D render looks way better IMHO. Also, I hope Mazda doesn't mess up the rear end of the current gen. The front of the C&D render + the rear of the current gen = perfect :)

I see room for a middle ground that we can all agree on here... Down with the CVTs! Manuals are awesome, but so is a good dual clutch paddle shifter, CVTs tend to just rob the fun right out of the car.
