Why would it be illegal? BMW doesn't want other dealers advertising THEIR warranty to help sell a car? BMW bears those costs, so of course they want to cut the crap.

And yet these silly Canadians say that the Alberta Oil Sands alone have 100 years worth of dino juice left to use so...

Then bring them up. Validate them. Make a study out of it. Prove it scientifically so it can't be unproven. Please, do that.

No, their engines aren't going up in displacement. The -30i cars will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbo four, and the -40i cars still have a 3.0-liter turbo inline six. But they are new engines — the B48 and B58, respectively. The first one is the same turbo four that goes into the new 2014 Mini Cooper.

We agree.

Sorry about that, I had to take a piss real bad :(

The new S Class is pretty damn good with the nearly driving itself business.

LOOOOL!

I think people take our points as "anti manual" but they aren't.

My first thought each time I rolled was "fuck fuck fuck I hate first gear fuck right off". But you learn where the clutch likes to be and how much throttle is needed (of course each car is different, but you learn quick).

Single gear electric

Its the same effort when I'm driving a paddle only car. What gear should I be in? Should I even change? When should I change?

Eh?

Its all bullshit. It really is.

Insane theory parroted by 12 year olds who don't even drive, most of the time.

Maybe it was the sloppy clutch, but it took me all of 3 hours in my cousins car to know enough manual to get around (even left turns without stalling and up hill parking!!)

I agree, manual becomes second nature if you aren't a complete moron, and you never "think" about shifting.

Any proof of that statement, or are you just going to pull crap out of your ass?

Autos don't make for lazier drivers the same way that manuals don't make for more attentive ones. If driving a manual requires you to be that focused, you suck at manual anyways. Manual is second nature after even a few days, you don't
