Please stop throwing out this straw man on this. Nobody is asking or wants to sit in one place and play. The radius changes made the game better. You still have to get out and about to play it.

I’m a launch player and I deleted Pokemon Go this past weekend.
The P2W is really overrated. It can make you a little better, but it’s not going to turn the tide of any fight unless you’re playing at the highest levels.
“Zeraora’s discharge is completely untouched.” Oof, I had a match last night where the enemy Zeraora was only a single level above my team (they were 12, we were 11) and managed to wipe out 3 of us, while we stood on our goal and focused our attacks on him, with a single discharge... while scoring. It is oppressive in…
He plays regular battles, not ranked, and is MVP about 50% of the time.
Not to mention the UI is fucking freemium mobile nonsense. It’s a million clicks to get to anything, there’s like 10 submenus, and rewards are spread across like 4 different areas. It’s terrible.
You’re also missing that badges increase your chances at catching legendaries that share the same type and double badges dramatically increases those chances. Your level also plays a factor in being able to catch legendaries. At level 40, with a mix of gold and platinum badges I have only had a few legendaries run…
Wow, this comment reads like a huge temper tantrum from someone who comes to Kotaku looking for WSJ content equipped with a 4th grade reading level. Seriously, piss off.
“Hoopa, star of one of my son’s favorite Pokémon movies, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.”
Wow, this article reads like a huge temper tantrum from someone who’s child didn’t get their expectations met because of their favorite Pokemon movie…
It wasn’t an anticlimax, it was a fun present!
Uh, what? Are you suggesting they stop... printing cards entirely because idiots are idiots?
No it's good
This is actually really impressive. They’re reaching speeds of up to 20 Hz, so around 1200 APM, at their peak. Maintaining precision using this technique seems incredibly finicky, but apparently it’s easier to master than hypertapping. Pretty weird to see innovations like this decades after the game’s release tbh, but…
On first glance I read it as Final Battle. Even after reading the article it took me a second to realize why you thought it was Anal Battle.
That plus the pandemic slowed down the production of cards in general. Its very difficult to find any paper card right now in retail. I would recommend trying your local game shops. They offer more variety, get stock in more regularly, and you are supporting a local business rather than Target or Walmart
I’m in the US and my town has 4 recently-built roundabouts (with 2 more on the way) and it’s been... not great. Mostly because people are idiots. It’s like they come to this unfamiliar circular piece of road and everything they know about how to drive just vanishes from their heads. Most people come to a complete stop…
Oh I can assure you, drivers here can’t figure out roundabouts either, and there are a fair number in older towns like in DC. For all the noise we make about cars, we’re shit drivers.
I mean, it’s that because it has a billion downloads and charges for events like this.
Gosh, you got really unlucky! Outside of raids we got two Bellsprouts, a Vulpix, an Eevee (!), Koffing, Omanyte, Psyduck, Horsea, Tangela and Charmander.
