I dunno man, “blood” and “honor” are two pretttttty common words in video games, and putting them together seems like something that’s probably happened without any devious intentions more than a few times across the history of gaming. The fact that you’ve got to translate it from German first, too... ehh.

That is part of the reason people are mad - they know it cost Nintendo virtually nothing to make this, but they still charged the full $60 for it and gave it a limited release to artificially drive up sales. It comes off as being greedy, especially since (as you said) we all know they’ll do it again.

Yeah i agree, it would be different if there was only the first movie in these franchises, but both RoboCop and Rambo have strayed so far from the originals that having them fight time hopping ninjas aint really that much of a stretch anymore

To be fair, most of the franchises that have shown up have basically already turned themselves into jokes long before showing up in MK.
