My solution to reconciling all of this was to just treat it as another fantastical element of the setting. If I can buy that a guy can run on walls then I guess I can buy a world where the police deserve the level of trust the game gives them.

I really don’t like this system in Mario Kart 8. Ideally I’d just pick a character and that would be that, but even just having a set of pre-designed karts would be better than this.

I’ll accept that argument if they have MS13, Mexican Mafia, VL etc. tattoos available.  I don’t have the game, but I’ll wager they don’t.

Its a parody of National Socialist Black Metal (nsbm for short) which is a generally awful sub-genre of black metal. They are mocking bands that actually do sound like this and have lyrics promoting white nationalism.

While I’m not black, I am a 6'2" 200+lb male who has been playing female characters since the first Diablo. Nearly always the best decision.

As a black man, when given the option, I always play as a white woman so start with any of the female characters if you ask me.

I was talking to a friend the other day about how anthropomorphic characters seemed to have disappeared from games after the 90s. It’s nice to see a little bit of a comeback.
