I would agree that Smallville had it's issues, but it also had it's awesome moments and clearly had enough fan backing that it was on air for 10 years. The 10th season was by far the best of the show, and shows how well the studio can do superhero plots with plenty of action and comic book cameo stuff.

I think it would be awesome if there was a social aspect to reading web comics. I always try to read threads / comments for posts like this, to see what other people read, but I find myself often forgetting what comics others suggest.

I think the idea of a sequential rollout ala Avengers is a good idea, but will run into 2 potential issues:

And that's what I did. And I walked into a movie called "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", and got to see Abe thwack Vampires with an Axe, in slow mo and see other ridiculousity. I got exactly what I expected when I bought that ticket, just like when I went to see "Shoot 'em Up".

I agree, I found that to be a strange caveat to deleting them. I suppose the logic is "Why would you delete it, when it doesn't count against your storage limit?" But, it still is a curiosity.

I actually don't have a Half Priced Bookstore nearby me in Illinois, but every time I make a trek home to Minnesota, I swing by the Half Priced Bookstore. :)

I would say that I subscribe to a similar thought process. I've read in some articles that evidence suggests an over abundance and over use of anti-bacterial/sterile stuff can have the adverse effect of making our immune system weak.

Unfortunately, it was on my list to read for many years, and I never got to it. Now that I have a cell phone with Kindle and a large enough screen that i'm comfortable with reading on it (Galaxy Nexus), I have read a significant amount more.

I'll have to agree with you there. I mean, it's like going to see 'Shoot 'em Up' and expecting a Romantic Comedy. What more do you want from a title? :P

In the IT Crowd, Roy asked Moss to trust him ...

I was going to lament the sadness that a lack of Amazon embedded links caused, until I searched for many of these to find that Amazon does not have Kindle versions of the majority.

That was the first thought I had, but I think @Tim Johnson covers it nicely? Seems like this article contains many 'both sides of the coin' statements, which is amusing if not confusing. :)

I'm going to go ahead and just detract a bit from the overall discussion, by commenting on the image which drew me to this post/thread/story.

To be honest though, that's pretty okay with me. The original story was pretty much terrible with a side of what-the-hell. So, it being a nightmare sandwich is more fitting than Disney's somewhat 'sweep the plot craziness under the rug' version. :)

I may have to consider looking into this. I had a filling pop out of a tooth, and need to have it fixed. It doesn't hurt, and I brush / mouthwash twice a day with flossing at night, so i'm not in a crazy fast rush to fix it, but I do want to. That said, I also don't have dental insurance. So, good times, and maybe

Thank you for the suggestion. I've re-read your post. Now go ahead and re-read mine, since it responds to the words you posted. If your meaning was not conveyed, you'll want to investigate rewording or editing. But as written right now, my response conveys perfectly my sentiment.

Typically I find myself happy to see various meme pictures posted on here, as I find myself laughing, and catching up with what the internet is spamming everywhere.

A few responses to that ...
