You are 100% correct, you do have to pay for the bids. I never said you didn't. I did say it was not a scam, and it isn't.

I'm going to say this unequivocally. They are not all scams. (If that statement was true, than the exact statement would be true about all Craigslist ads). They are in fact, exactly what they say they are. And when you understand the bidding system, they are very simple to use. More to the point, simple to acquire

I thought this exact same thing when I heard about the concept behind Quibids.com (and other penny bidding sites). Something so stupidly brilliant, ... kinda wish i'd have had the eureka moment before they did. Que sera sera.

Of note: In regards to Robin/Nighthawk, other than Joseph Gordon-Levitt, I can't really think of another actor I could see as him.

I really enjoyed Jason O'Mara in 'Life on Mars', and the fact that Spielberg is involved, and there are dinosaurs, ... that's 3 reasons for me to watch it. At least the pilot. I hope it's good...

In all honesty, if that was made an option, i'd be happy as a clam. Or other sea creature. If i'm in 'Blog' or 'Classic' view, the side panel deal is sorta intrusive. And at work, the site is too flashy and so forth to load / look smooth, so minimizing and hiding whatever I can will make this a much more enjoyable

I just wanted to thank you, Cyriaque, for including the word 'inamorata' in your article here. I've never read that word (to my knowledge) and it's a very neat but descriptive word that i'll probably lock away in my file for 'words I like'. Also, to be relevant, i've been watching since season 1, and I think it's been

@ArleenCabango: Well, two things. One, I completely agree with your statement, and absolutely think that any new popular product could experience the same shortage. Two, I honestly know very little about the Slate, and have little desire to learn. I was more defending the PlayBook as I think it has a legitimate

Not sure if anyone's pointed this out, but as a person who's kept up with Smallville, it's to be noted that Clark's worn that outfit for a few episodes now. He even 'technically' wore the whole cape-shebang in one episode...

I've read through a significant amount of the comments below, and I think it's important to note that the last time around this block, Apple announced the iPad in January, releasing it in April. Following this logic / release cycle (which is fairly common, given the iPhone cycle), it will be announced this month, and

@ArleenCabango: Pretty sure the iPad experienced the same low availability right when it came out. I know I couldn't walk into my local Best Buy and buy it for many weeks. Unfair to make that conclusion immediately after any popular product is released.

1) I don't mind much messiness, but a messy inbox bothers me. Primarily at work though, my home e-mails i'm less worried about.

@Stueymon: I hope so, that comic honestly floored me with how awesome it was. So, hopefully it is!

@BlueBeard: Completely agree. I really liked him as Superman, and after seeing him on Chuck (and Scott Pilgrim too), I find myself really enjoying his acting.

When I was growing up, Mom had pilfered an entire roll of plastic bags from a local grocery store... we always used them when we went outside!

I'm sorry, but there is no part of me that thinks anything but: this. is. stupid.

Yeah, i'd seriously consider Prime if they did this. I'd want some app for my PS3 or something, but yeah, i'd definitely consider it.

@Louiethe8th: In the contest of saying something awesome, you win. In the contest of saying something that ... maybe ... hits too close to home ... *Sniff* ... everyone is a loser.

@serenada: Well now, let's be fair, Angel and Buffy had 5 and 7 seasons respectively...
