This is a terrible idea. It will cause un-due paranoia, and will also cause people to get the mindset "Oh, by the way, around the corner is a 3D dealie, just ignore it and keep driving,... what was that bump?"

Something like this seems like an interesting concept, but inevitably will fail to grab a large audience for a simple reason: Visuals. Sure, the game looks pretty, the tanks look nice, and all that.
