Yeah, right.
Yeah, right.
Will always remember him from Homicide: Life on the Street. I hadn't realized that was his first TV job.
Viable candidates for SA come out of that office, not private practice or radio programs. Alicia's candidacy for this particular office is a joke.
At least Lisa Madigan served in the Illinois Senate before being elected Attorney General. Alicia Florrick has never campaigned before (and she's doing it really badly on her first go-round).
"The island has no escapes, but there is a see-saw."
I think what the island lacks (that is relevant to the problem) are scales, not escapes. At least, that's what I heard. :-)
At first, that's what I thought, too, BUT the key is that one of the 12 is either heavier or lighter than the other 11. When you split the group in half, one group will be heavier than the other BUT you don't know if that's because the heavier group has a heavier individual in it or the lighter group has a lighter…
"Her time at Open Air inspired Amy to change the world around her, but she hasn’t done the necessary work on herself yet."
Isn't that real-a-tor? :-)
It was explained last week, when Boyd got hold of some mining maps and realized that one of the tunnels ended about 180 yards from the Pizza Portal — and that was a distance they could dig through.
Cueball!
OMG, that Sports Center sketch was gold.
"Don't shoot the puck in my pooper!" Tim Meadows's reactions were great, too.
The Michael Jordan episode was actually pretty good. It was the season opener back in 1991 (after the Bulls won their first championship). They used him well, as shown in the taped material for the monologue.

In fairness, he was a stand-up comedian at the start of ELR, not an actor. But I read that he met with an acting coach regularly once the show started and he realized how far he had to go to keep up with Boyle, Roberts, et al. It's clear he really upped his game over time, and I loved his SNL hosting gig, too.
Paul Simon in the Turkey costume for Thanksgiving 1976 was a good
example of poking fun at looking stupid. "They said to me, 'You take
yourself soooo seriously. Why do you always take yourself soooo
seriously?' I don't wanna be Mr. Alienation…"
B+ for "Hard Ball"? It's my all-time favorite episode of "30 Rock"!
"Writer. Inventor. Jungle-Fever-Haver." That's some resume.
I took Sam to be 35 to 37 in the first season. He had been out of baseball for 5 years (per the episode where his old teammate Dave, now a sportscaster, comes to interview Sam). So Sam left baseball around 1977. Later seasons filled in that Sam had signed with the Sox at a very young age — he didn't even finish…
